It has been said that practice makes perfect. With learning to dance, it is no different. Practicing to dance shouldn’t be redundant and boring. Why not make it fun? There is no better way than having a party.
What is a Practice Party
A dance practice party is party where you can practice the steps that you have been working on during your dance classes and dance lessons at our Raleigh dance studio. The majority of our students take dance lessons because they want to be better at dance competitions, learn new dances for social dances and also learn dances for weddings. Attending one of our practice parties would be perfect so that you can try out your new skills in a comfortable setting. At our dance practice parties, there will be many people dancing on the floor at once. Whether you have only taken one dance lesson or have been going to dance classes for many years, attending a practice party will be a great learning experience for you.
What To Expect at a Dance Practice Party
Learning how to dance does not have to be boring. We feel that taking lessons, classes, and attending practice parties can be fun. Here is what you can expect at our practice parties:
- Party with a Theme
We like to mix it up each month with a different fun and whimsical theme. In October, it could be a Halloween themed dance practice party complete with costumes. We have even had Hawaiian themed practice parties. Be sure to check out our current calendar to know which theme we are having that night.
- Dancing
Indeed there will be dancing at our dance practice parties. Find your favorite pair of comfortable dancing shoes, you will need them. From dancing the tango or even maneuvering the mambo, our team of dance instructors will keep you busy.
- Meet New People
Many people ask us, “What is your favorite part of social dancing?”. Quite simply, it is being able to meet new people. At a dance practice party, you can meet new people from all over the Triangle that also share the love of dancing, make new friends and reconnect with an old friend that you have not seen in a long time.
- Dance Instructors
Our team of professional dance instructors will be present to offer their knowledge of dance in a relaxed, non-stressful environment.
